I’m a London-based creative focussed primarily on projects based around human experiences. I graduated in 2013 with a BA Photography and for the three consecutive years I travelled and pursued personal work including photography projects in Taiwan, Egypt and India, and Nepal, forming arts and travel website Ghost, and producing an ongoing documentary film, The Jungle, following the journey of a young Syrian refugee, before moving back to London in July 2016.
Since then I have been working on a number of personal and commercial projects including art directing Magic Kinder’s social media campaign in 2016/17 and 2017/18, Reclaiming “Muslim”, a personal project about Muslim identity, writing and creating Yasmin’s Journey, a children’s book about the refugee experience and in mid-2017 began working as head creative on SuperSisters, an online platform changing the narrative for young Muslim girls.
I currently work out of my daylight photography studio in Stoke Newington, North London. Please email to request images or to hire.
